Overbelt magnets are suitable for the continuous removal of (ferromagnetic) Fe particles – such as iron or steel – from material flows containing a relatively large amount of Fe. The effectiveness of block magnets varies from 70 to 90% deferrization. This can be increased to higher levels through several steps of deferrization.
Operation: overbelt magnets can be placed inline or diagonally over flat or trough-shaped conveyor belts. The Fe particles are drawn out of the raw material flow and ejected to the side of the conveyor belt – film with working principle (inline).
Available options:
- version with permanent magnet (ferrite or neodymium) or electromagnet
- dust explosion-proof version in accordance with ATEX directive 94/9/EC
- with completely dust-proof enclosure
