Standard versions of the pharma magnetic filter are available with openings from 1.5″ (Ø50.5 mm) to 3″ (Ø91 mm). The connections are Ferrule IDF flanges, for attachment of a Ferrule tri-clamp. The housing is suitable for the food and pharma industries. (See also the chapter on Hygienic design and the website of the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG).)
Cleaning: Once the product flow has been stopped, the entire magnet unit must be removed from the product chute. Then the magnetic bars can be pulled out of the extractor tubes, causing the Fe particles to fall off of the extractor tubes.
Application | Powders and fluids under pressure, with little Fe contamination. Specially suited for high sanitary requirements in food and pharma applications. |
