Magnet Filters, industrial, pneumatic
Standard industrial pneumatic magnetic filters are available for pipe sizes from DN150 to DN300 and fitted with flanges meeting the requirements of DIN 2576 PN10. The housing is suitable for the food industry. This filter does not have Ø25 but rather Ø34 mm pneumatically-controlled neodymium magnetic bars.
Cleaning of the magnetic bars is done in part over guide rods and in part pneumatically, because the magnet units of filters of this size are too heavy to lift.
Cleaning cycle:
- Stop the product flow.
- Slide the complete magnetic unit out, over the guide rods.
The magnetic bars are then automatically (pneumatically) blown a step further inside the extractor tubes. After several seconds – once the Fe particles have fallen off – they are blown back into the production position. - Slide the magnetic unit back into the production chute.
- Restart the production flow.
