Auto Cleanflows – Cleaning Principles

There are basically two auto-cleaning principles:

1. Cleaning only possible during a production stop

2. Cleaning possible during production

1. Cleaning only possible during a production stop:

The cleaning cycle can only begin once the production process has been stopped.

We offer the following types of Cleanflows based on this auto-cleaning principle, each with its own working principle:

SECD / SRCD

  • Working principle SECD /working principle SRCD.
  • First a valve beneath the magnet switches position or a tray is slid under the Cleanflow.
  • Then the magnetic bars, which are enclosed inside stainless steel tubes, are blown out of the product chute by the pneumatic system (the magnets remain inside these tubes). The captured Fe particles are prevented from moving with the bars, so they are not pulled along with the bars and instead remain inside the product chute.
  • When the magnetic field is removed from the product chute the Fe particles fall off of the bars. The valve directs them towards a collection container or tray.
  • The cores are then blown back into the product chute, and the valve moves back to the production position or the tray can be removed.
  • Finally, production can be resumed.
  • The big advantage of this system is that it is complete dust-tight, which means it can also be used in the food industry.

SECP / SRCP

  • Working principle SECP.
  • 1 or 2 pneumatic cylinders move the entire magnet package out of the product chute.
  • Then the magnetic bars, which are enclosed inside stainless steel tubes, are blown a bar-length further by the pneumatic system (the magnets remain inside these tubes). The captured Fe particles are prevented from moving with the bar, so they are not pulled along with the bars and are no longer exposed to the magnetic forces.
  • When the magnetic field is removed the Fe particles fall off of the bars. They can then be carried away or collected for later removal.
  • The cores are then blown back into the production position, and the pneumatic cylinder(s) move(s) the entire magnet package back into the product chute.
  • Finally, production can be resumed.
  • An advantage of this system is its low installation height and very low noise level.
